The program Lute Song Reflections is dedicated to the evaluation of the lute song and the unique combination of voice and plucked instruments of the renaissance, baroque and romantic eras. The classical combination of voice and lute as in the works of John Dowland told dramatically on the later music. In this program we eplore the reflection of a lute song in the works of the masters of the baroque – Monteverdi, Lambert and Haendel and go further to Mozart, Schubert, Rossini and even Gabriel Faure performing with two unique copies of 19 – th century guitars by Let 1830 strung with historical Gut / Silk strings . Wonderful soprano Christine Gabrielle Madar besides singing plays greatly on the lute and lets us provide a rather big instrumentation with three lute family instruments!

Duo Instrumental pieces include a great duo Souvenir de Russie by Fernando Sor and a fascinating transcription of Cesar Franks Prelude Fuge and Variation for two 19-th century Guitars.
