"La luth enchanté" or "The
Magic Lute" is a chamber music project that originated in the friendship
between Anton Birula and Anna Kowalska on the one hand (Luteduo, based
in The Netherlands) and Marion Fermé, the French flautist on the other.
Their ensemble aims to bring out the graceful sound of the several
recorders combined with the lutes. The richness of the parts proceeding
from the various combinations between the recorders and the lutes, or
even between the theorbo with the baroque guitar, each add in a
surprising way to the range of the continuo playing. Supported by their
international experience the musicians offer with joy and liveliness an
interpretation which shows respect for the baroque aesthetics and proves
a creative association. |
